Two subsidiaries of Heirs Insurance Group have been listed in the 2026 Financial Times ranking of Africa’s Fastest-Growing Companies.
The group disclosed this in a statement on Thursday in Lagos.
The group also said that the recognition was due to its expanding presence in Africa’s insurance industry.
According to the statement, Heirs Life Assurance ranked seventh, while Heirs General Insurance placed 41st among 130 companies listed across different sectors on the continent.
The company said the recognition highlighted the growth trajectory of both firms, driven by financial strength, innovation, operational efficiency and expanded product offerings.
Commenting on the development, Mr Niyi Onifade, Sector Head of Heirs Insurance Group, said the ranking reflected the company’s commitment to customer-focused and technology-driven growth.
“We are immensely proud that both Heirs Life Assurance and Heirs General Insurance have been recognised among Africa’s fastest-growing companies,” he said.
According to him, the recognition also reinforces the group’s commitment to strengthening financial resilience across Africa.
The development came shortly after the group launched PrinceAI, a multilingual generative artificial intelligence platform designed to improve access to insurance services and enhance customer engagement.
The company said the AI platform enables real-time interaction with customers and addresses barriers limiting insurance penetration across the continent.
