The Association of Tourism Practitioners of Nigeria (ATPN) has announced that its National Elective Annual General Meeting (AGM) has been slated to hold Nov. 19, 2024, in Abuja.
The Chairman of the 2024 AGM planning committee, Mr Andrew Ehanire, disclosed this in a statement, on Tuesday, in Lagos.
Ehanire said that the meeting will be preceded by a workshop with the theme “Tourism is Life” and will also evaluate selected sub themes on “Peace and Community safety”and the “Structure of the Nigerian Blue Economy”.
According to the Chairman, the interface between practitioners and policy experts is to take advantage of the new thinking and templates for community tourism development and promotion.
“All national zonal officers are encouraged to advise their members, including stakeholders, to register for the AGM through a dedicated ATPN digital potal.
“A list of ATPN ambassadors will be unveiled during the meeting, including the National Youth Service Corp tourism kit, specifically designed to integrate and connect Nigerian youths to the benefits of cultural tourism business opportunities and values.
“The venue of the elective AGM is the prestigious Abuja capital Klub and Apartments, Asokoro, Abuja.
