Legendary Nigerian Juju musician, Ebenezer Obey, on Wednesday offered prayers for Nigerian leaders and citizens in general on the celebration of Democracy Day and 25 years of unbroken democracy.
Obey, while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in a telephone interview said that prayers would conquer all forms of challenges currently confronting the masses.
He advised Nigerians to pray fervently for the nation.
He said: “On a day like this, it is an opportunity to pray for our leaders, from the President to the vice president, the governors and all other leaders.
“I pray for them all. May God visit Nigeria and hear our prayers, let this country witness progress and every good things we lack today, help us change things for the better. “I pray that God intervenes in our various challenges and gives us the ability to cooperate to get back to better times.”
